Our story
How it began
Like many new businesses it all began with a problem that needed a solution. For me, that was escalating eco-anxiety; a sense of powerlessness and overwhelming worry at the scale of the world's environmental problems. With 3 young children I spent a lot of time considering what needs to be done to ensure a better world for them. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and beyond individual level change to enable my local community to make better choices and live more sustainably. I knew there are plenty of you out there that have the same concerns and share the same values as me! So this little business was born as a way to help me cope with my anxiety and to empower others to make a small contribution to ensuring a healthier planet for us all.
Why refills?
Although recycling plastic is important, it's simply not the solution. Most plastic is not recycled as we expect it to and much of it ends up in landfill or the ocean. It can only be recycled a handful of times before virgin plastic is needed. Walk around any supermarket and the amount of plastic packaging is eye watering and a lot of it completely unnecessary. Circular systems that eliminate the need for single use plastic are the only way forward.
Clearly there are a multitude of solutions our planet needs to be healthier, but don't despair, there are small things we can all do individually in our day to day lives. We all have a part to play in preserving our environment for us, our children and generations to come.

Our business maybe starting small but we have big dreams. We would love to see refilling become the norm not exception! We want to make it as easy as possible for people to live a more eco-conscious life.
