Our story
The founder
I didn’t set out to become a business owner. I was simply trying to build a life that made sense for my family and for the planet. I grew up on the outskirts of London spending much of my childhood outdoors with my three brothers. My dad gave me a lasting respect for nature and alongside a degree in Psychology, my upbringing shaped my belief that small, collective actions can create real change. I spent over ten years working in healthcare with the NHS and the Alzheimer’s Society. I loved the purpose, but did not feel I fitted in. Life’s inevitable curveballs came my way, and my anxiety deepened about the chemicals I brought into my home. I wanted safer, healthier, refillable products, but finding honest, affordable options seemed impossible.
So, I created my own.
In 2021, Arborfill began with 2,000 glass bottles and a bike trailer, delivering refills in the snow. This little idea has blossomed and helped me rebuild my confidence and find purpose outside motherhood I run the business alongside raising my three children, because like many parents, I need solutions that work in real life.
